Working for a leading proprietary school for boys aged 4-8 and girls aged 4-11. The school has an excellent reputation in the local community and prides itself on its team working ethos and traditional values where excellence and service are vitally important.
They are now looking for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team of 4 - reporting into the Head Chef.
The role will involve;
- Delivery of daily menus and dishes.
- Training apprentice chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff
- Catering and Prep for 250 pupils a day
- Inventory control
- Food cost control
- Staff supervision and scheduling
- Sanitation and hygiene
- Equipment maintenance
- Leadership by example
Hours of work: 0730-1530, Mon-Fri during term time.
Annual Leave will be taken during school holidays.
Salary of £21,210 will be paid annually and spread equally over 12 months.
Due to the nature of work an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.
